Would stay again
Even though the elevator broke down 2x while we were there and the phone did not work in our room, I would stay at this hotel again just for the staff. They made every effort to accomodate us,including finding a disability room for us when my elderly mother acccompanied us at the last minute and actually coming to our room and knocking on our door to wake us in the morning when they found our phone could not be repaired. The rooms were spacious and while not new were in acceptable condition. Breakfast was fine including a hot entree and make your own waffles. Location was good as was convenient to LSU and the I-10, but not right on the freeway.
Traveler's tip on dining
TJ Ribs at the next exit west has the best steak I’ve eaten in a while. Ribs and shrimp dishes looked delicious as well.

The staff from the moment I entered the hotel until my departure was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and rooms comfortable and quiet. Within a short drive to many restaurants. Good location for a business traveler.
