Very Hospitable, Spacious and Clean
The hotel staff were most accomodating in every aspect. We used the hotel as our home base for sightseeing. ex. Sequoia and Yosmite National Parks, San Francisco.(1 to 3hrs away) They provided us with other excursions in and around the area which we took full advantage of. They offered information on restaurants in the area, church service schedules, shopping and did this all with a genuine "eager to please attitude". Our room was spacious and kept very clean. The continental breakfast offered a large variety of food and juices and all different types of teas, and of course, coffee. We also were pleased that they had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The refrigerator is a big plus as we stored the bottled water we were using for our daily excursions. When I booked the rating star was a 2 1/2. We were very pleased when we saw the room. This establishment should be rated higher.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There is a Denny’s right next door. Two doors down a Taco eatery and gas stations closeby. Within a mile many more eateries and gas stations and a Super Target.

Would go back
Nice clean facility with a very good free breakfast; a good jumping off point for a first thinkg in the morning drive to Yosemite.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Motel is somewhat remote, we needed to search a little to find dinner after 10:00pm. Even the pizza places stopped delivering at a little after 9:30. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

So NOISY
The hotel had booked a wedding group on the floor above us. There was so much noise! Each step they took as they walked across the floor was loud and they kept setting things down on the floor with a thud. At 11pm we called the desk clerk who was very nice on the phone and said they’d take care of it. We called again at 12am and 1am. Noise continued until 2pm. You come to a hotel to sleep. Aparently Fairfield Inn cannot guaranty the environment to accomplish that! We’ve been to two other hotels in the area and have been very happy with them. You won’t find us staying here again!!

Poor booking on part of hotel to put a wedding party above another room! Too noisy most of the night to sleep!!!!
