A Southern Gem!

This Hilton is beautifully maintained and the pool on the 7th floor terrace is amazing! Very close to the downtown square with all the dining and entertainment you need.

Thursdays in the summer feature free outdoor concerts in the square.

Mold Smell in room

Room A/C or window had been leaking and room smell like mold.

Very Nice

The hotel was very nice. The staff new information about downtown and could give good directions. The bartended was excellent and the service there was awesome.

no love in knoxville

unfortunately very disappointed in this hotel-mainly from the standpoint of service. we arrived and declined valet parking--because the car garage was 20 yards directly in front of us. The bellman literally watched us unload our car, on a hill, with a toddler running around and did not offer ANY service. The front desk was deserted when we went to check in-the staff eventually arrived and was pleasant. we took our bags to our room and planned to have dinner at the hotel-and were greeted with a hostess who was less than thrilled that we were considering eating there-she actually rolled her eyes when we inquired about being seated...we were so turned off we went to eat in the bar with our 3 year old child. I think that this economy is the time for superior customer service and this hotel didn’t even deliver the minimal requirement.

Loved our stay

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton for an anniversary weekend and Vols’ game. The staff was courteous and friendly - from the front desk to the valet parking attendants to the housekeepers. Our room was very clean and nicely updated (with granite counters, shower, etc.), and the view was fantastic. We will definitely stay there again next season!

Convenient and comfortable

Room was well appointed for the price. Easy access to the interstate. Able to walk to my appointment. Personnel helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Hilton Standard Maintained

The Hilton in Downtown Knoxville, right across from the University of TN Conference Center and the Knoxville Convention Center, maintains the Hilton standard quite well. The hotel is well maintained, staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and have all the amenities and the location is great. The only issue we had was a someone in the parking garage begging for money, but the hotel staff handled that very well.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

If your business is with the University of Tennessee or you have a conference at the Convention Center, this is one of the most convenient places to stay. If you are doing something at TVA or in downtown, you’ll want to be on the other side of the interstate.

Even better than our last stay

We recently spent a weekend here and to our pleasant surprise the hotel had been remodeled since our last stay. The Hilton was always our favorite Knoxville Hotel, but now with the granite countertops&shower, flat screen TV, and modern decorating, the room was even better! And the staff was so nice when we needed a taxi or directions. I look forward to staying at the Hilton again come football season. GO VOLS!

Not impressed

For a Hilton, not impressed. The management and front desk staff is less than friendly. Had to ask for extra towels 2 times and they seemed bothered that I even asked. The toilet was not entirely clean upon arriving either. Fans in bathrooms do not function. If you take a hot shower, better leave the door open if you want to use the mirror when you’re done. For the money you can do MUCH better.

Beautiful downtown Knoxville

Staying at the Hilton was pure luxury. I had to check in late and they were very curtious. The bed was amazing and I slept very well. I will stay there again if ever back in Knoxville.

Sapphire is a great place to get awesome martini’s. It is on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville.

An ok place to stay downtown

Room service was absolutely horrible. We ordered from room service 4 times and every single time they forgot half of the order. It was truly absurd.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Park the car yourself, do not use the valet. The valet has only one person working at a time so it can take forever to get your car. Also, the garage that the valet uses is the same garage that you self park in.

Amazing hotel!

When I booked the hotel, I requested a room with a view because it was our 25th anniversary. When we checked in we were give a room on the top floor (18th) overlooking the entire city!! The Hilton went above and beyond for us! We even had robes in the closet and the top floor had their own lounge for breakfast and appetizers in the evenings. We got to see how the other half lives! It was an amazing weekend!

Knoxville, TN Hilton

We had a wonderful time while in Knoxville and the service was excellent. The convenience to the area was great too. Thank You for a wonderful stay!

Service was excellent, no mistakes.

About 10 of us booked our rooms on Expedia and there were no problems or mistakes by the Hotel. It was in the heart of Knoxville and close to restaurants, and other scenic places. Also, the Starbucks downstairs was a bonus. Great value.

A good value

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Staff is friendly and very accomodating. Room was clean and prices were very reasonable

great experience, loved the city

We stayed to run the Covenant Health Marathon. It was close enough to the start line without all the noise. The only difficulty was getting out of the parking garage when the runners were still running.

Great Room, cold lobby

We had a very comfortable room. The lobby was extremely cold. It was difficult to sit and chat with our friends or relax in the lobby, because it was freezing. They really need a revolving door or some barrier to prevent the cold temps in the lobby!

Don’t eat at the Downtown Pub and Brewery. The food was really poor and we had to wait 1.5 hours for a table!

Hotel was convenient and staff friendly.

Great Hotel. Close to U.T. Campus

I had a great experience at this hotel. It is about a 20 minute walk to Neyland Stadium, but there are some steep hills involved. The parking garage is a little difficult to navigate if you are driving a large vehicle. Close to convention center and other downtown venues.
