Excellent Stay
Expedia’s assistance with pre-booking was a great start. On arrival, the staff were very helpful, spoke English & offered information when asked. This was our 1st time in Norway & were planning a train trip to Fredrikstad - 1 hour away. The hotel location was a 5 minute walk to Central Station. Everything centered around this area - ferry, walking, bus, shopping with excellent guidance from Thon Opera hotel staff. The breakfast was more than expected - healthy, I mean not the North American style of fast foods but healthy - a real bonus.

Very nice!!!
Fairly new hotel, right in front of the new opera house and across the street from the train station... Great location, very central to everything. Staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean and neat.
