obviously aging cash cow for the owners; needs overhaul
Television, stereo equipment not working--throw it out; less than half the lights were in working order; furniture, upholstery not upgraded in 20 years--cleaned, but old stains still there; exercise room equipment out of order; despite prior notice of early arrival (after overnight flight), no room available until 2:00p. All this and payment required in advance, to boot!

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood is convenient to metro, EU offices, restaurants, parks--just find a different hotel.

Great price for a terrific place to stay
My husband & I prefer to stay in apartments rather than hotels. B-Aparthotel combined the best of both. The apartment was sparkling clean and kept that way during the week by daily maid service. The kitchen was well-equipped. The apartment was well-furnished, better than some others we’ve rented. The location was excellent, close to good restaurants and public transportation. The bus to the airport stopped about a block from the hotel. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay in Brussels.
