At Schladming, a number of ski stars celebrated their triumphs. The skiing world cup events at the neighbouring village of Ramsau are the guarantee for modern ski-lift equipments, well-cared ski runs, etc... The many ski schools (including for youngster and cross country) are ready to reveal the winter sport passion from any beginners. Tobogganing, curling, horse sledge rides, winter-hiking in fresh air provide sufficient reasons to spend their holidays with us, even for the non-sporting ones. Our Dachstein-Tauern region is an ideal base for summer walks too.
