Would use Vibe Hotel again
The Vibe Hotel in City Centre Sydney is an average hotel with a nice style. I found my room to be clean and neat. the staff was helpful when needed, but I did have to wait several hours to be assigned a room (my flight arrives at 7:30am, my room was not ready for four hours). A nice place to relax was Hyde Park, located very close to the hotel, and the neighborhood surrounding the hotel seemed safe and comfortable to me. The train lines and bus stations are close by, and the Sydney Harbor is within walking distance. I had no problem with noise levels, however, there is some construction going on near the building so that my room faced the wreckage of that site. If you want a view, make sure you ask for one before you book your stay. I would definately stay at the Vibe again, were I to be in Sydney again. I found the city modern, huge, friendly, but pricey. Take extra cash for eating out and enjoy the Taronga Zoo--the best part of my stay!
Pack light--I took a backpack that I could fit my laptop into, and no carry on luggage.

Convenient location
near china town and train station, very convenient public transit to get around the city. highly recommend, comfortable rooms with a good location
