What to expect: Automatic sliding glass doors open to a simple but appealing lobby with a check-in desk to the right and Internet kiosks located within a spacious seating area stretching along floor-to-ceiling windows to the left. Here, leisure travellers and families lounge awaiting tour buses and airport shuttles or peruse the extensive collection of brochures available across from the elevators.
Amenity highlights: Five coin-operated guest laundry services including washers, dryers, and sink for delicates as well as washing powder, snack, and beverage vending machines are located throughout the hotel. A cafeteria-style dining room offers hot and cold breakfast items daily (surcharge). Elevators require a room key to operate, and wireless Internet is available in the lobby. |
Insider tip: A five-minute walk to the southeast corner of Hyde Park with a right turn on Oxford grants access to unique shops and trendy boutiques as well as countless cafés, bottle shops, and some of Sydney’s most lively nightlife.
