Nice hotel - don’t stay in hot weather
This is a beautiful small hotel with lovely parquet floors and helpful staff. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Location is convenient-- one block from train station, Tivoli, museums. Unfortunately we were there in very hot weather and there is no air conditioning. Normally this would not be a problem as the windows open. However, the hotel is in the middle of a red light district and "transactions" were occurring all night long so we had to close the windows in order to sleep, then it was very stuffy and hot. I did not feel the neighborhood was at all unsafe, just too noisy when windows were open.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Tivoli is right near by and not to be missed. Everything in Copenhagen is very pricey for an American, but Tivoli is worth the bucks.

Dont Stay Here
I came here with friends for a mini vacation. The hotel is not very nice at all. Television falling off the wall. We had to prop it up with a Menu Card. Room is filthy, carpeting disgusting. This hotel is right off the red light district so if you like being harrased by street walkers on your way home at night...pick this place. Maybe you can get a discount for convience. Seriously, skip this hotel and upgrade to a nice place. If I had it to do over again, I would have paid extra for a nice room, clean towels etc.

Walk the city, there is alot to see that you will miss if you dont go out and explore. Copenhagen has alot to offer for a short vacation
