Recommend if you want more room
We stayed here just one night before boarding The Ghan. The staff was very pleasant and our room was clean. There was a kitchen and living room area. However, it was on the first floor, on a side street, and when we opened the sliding glass door, the curtains made it difficult to enter. If you want a quiet place, where you’ll feel somewhat apart from others, you should particularly like this place. For two people, you may prefer a regular hotel, although, as reviews said, this would be a fine place to spread out for a family.

Great Hotel
This hotel has an apartament style comodations. Very clean and very nice. We were given a free upgrade to a two room apartment when we arrived. It is in the heart of Adelaide so everything is in walking distance!!

Central Location a Plus
I was pleasantly pleased to discover how centrally located this establishment is to some of Adelaide’s high interest spots. Central Market 2 blocks, Rundle Street Mall 3 blocks, Glenelg Tram 3 blocks. I was upgraded upon arrival, accommodations clean and quiet. Staff helpful and courteous.And the "Pie Cart" just one block away!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The "Pie CArt" is an Adelaide tradition of decades. Just a block from Franklin Apartments. Famous specialty is traditional meat pie in a bowl of split pea soup. This is called "a pie floater"...a must have while in Adelaide.
