Nice hotel, good central location.
The hotel was crisp and efficient. Service was good, concierge very helpful. Good base for visiting Sydneys sights and attractions. My husband and were travelling with our 2 children and it worked out. Great. I was sorry not to eat at the Restaurant "Bilstons ", in the hotel. It is supposed to be very good.
Didn’t charge extra for the kids. I wanted 1 room for the 4 of us. When I was looking for a hotel seemed like an awful lot of the hotels charged for children staying in the same room !

Like you were their only guest!
The Radisson Plaza staff could not do enough to meet our needs. For example, on the second night of our stay, the Internet stopped working in our room. The concierge came immediately and discovered the problem -- a bad connection. His immediate response would you like us to move you to another room. We declined and the connection was fixed the next morning. The restaurant was excellent and you must try the chocolate mousse that is available with in-room dining.

Wonderful People
The Radisson Plaza Hotel in Sydney was fantastic. The whole staff was friendly and they all went out of their way to help you as much as they can. Great people make a great place. The only thing I can say that wasn’t great was when we checked in, they said a child was under 12 not 18 as I was accustomed to. So, I left their with extra room charges, but even when I talked to the manager regarding that, they were fair and reduced the price so that we were both happy. I would recommend this hotel to any one wanting a nice place to stay in Sydney. It is in the downtown area, but it’s really close to everything you will want to do and if not, it will be easy to get there.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
This hotel is close to the Circular Quay, The Rocks and all of the ferries. The train is only about 3 blocks away which will take you everywhere in Sydney so it’s a great local point. The Quay, Rocks, ferries, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House are all within walking distance of 15 to 20 minutes if that.
