Beautiful room, but noisy
We had a lovely, well decorated, clean comfortable room. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. The only problem we had was the noise outside the window. We had a room on the corner of the second floor, which, unfortunately was directly adjacent to the traffic circle around the town square. Since the town square is the junction of two heavily used truck routes, we had to deal with a significant amount of semi-trailer noise.

Great location in Gettysburg
Great place to stay. Just across the street from the Wills House - a must-see. Also close to some shops and restaurants. Did not try the hotel’s restaurant, though my husband enjoyed the bar! Parking is in a garage behind the hotel and convenient. Did not have any problems sleeping with the truck noise. Though I could not believe the noise in that little town - trucksrumbling and sirens. Sometimes it seemed like we could actually hear the guns from the battle! On;y complaint about the hotel - room was large but there was nowhere to put things - could use more tables or bureau to put wallet, keys, etc. There is room for more furniture. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Good location, satisfactory room
This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to pubs, some historical landmarks, and shopping. Being in a historical building, the room accommodations were a bit small and not modern, but clean and sufficient. They validated our parking, located directly behind the hotel, which was great. I would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a great location and good price.
