General Information
What to expect: Guests enter through modern Moorish arches into the sprawling low-ceilinged lobby of the Mansour Eddahbi Marrakech, welcomed by porters in scarlet Moroccan dress. Business guests relax on dark blue and green leather sofas beneath the white and gold-painted arches, while leisure travellers shop in the stores around the lobby, selling souvenirs, jewellery and Moroccan outfits.
Amenity highlights: Families are catered for with the Menara Club, which is open for children from the ages of 2 to 12, from 9 AM to 5.30 PM. The club features games, table tennis, karaoke machine and an indoor play area. Children can take special meals here, and babysitting for younger babies can also be arranged. Adjacent to the kids’ pools, a playground features swings, slides, a Wendy house and log cabin.
Insider tip: Instead of taking a taxi or walking into the Medina, guests can pick up a horse and cart to take them on a tour through the city and chat to the friendly drivers. The carts are a Marrakech institution used by locals and visitors alike, and take their place in the hectic traffic alongside cars and taxis.
Property Amenities

The hotel houses four outdoor swimming pools, set in eight hectares of gardens. The largest is rectangular, decorated with geometric tiling, and flanked by fountains, which are illuminated at night. Further down the garden lie the two shallow children’s pools, and next to the fitness centre is a smaller outdoor lap pool.
The fitness centre houses a supervised gym, eight treatment rooms, a hairdressing salon, snack bar and relaxation rooms. Set around the pretty central courtyard, with its bubbling fountain, guests can relax in the jetted tub, traditional hammam, or one of three saunas. Treatments include orange flower exfoliation, manicures, pedicures and beauty treatments using Phyt plant-based products.
Late night entertainment comes in the shape of two onsite nightclubs: The Calypso is a laidback Moroccan style cabaret club, while the Paradise is a discotheque. Both are open until 4 AM.
The adjacent convention centre is the largest in Marrakech and includes three auditoria with capacity of up to 2,500 people. It also houses smaller meeting rooms and an exhibition hall.
