Very convenient Hotel
The Ramada Inn in Olympia is a very well maintained and conveniently located hotel to I-5. It is near many restaurants that are within walking distance and the surrounding area feels safe. The hotel staff was very customer service oriented and the morning breakfast was just right.

Not very impressed
The first room we were given had several maintenance problems: toilet that barely flushed, closet door that was stuck shut, lousy TV reception. The desk staff very nicely up-graded us to a suite and even escorted us to the new room. Unfortunately, the layout was pretty weird: big jacuzzi tub in the sitting room, huge shower but with no shelves or racks for soap, shampoo, towels, etc., bathroom separated from the bedroom, one king-size bed rather than the 2 queen-sized we’d requested. The hotel is located near the I-5 and a short drive from center city. The staff was very friendly and gave us good directions to the restaurant we’d chosen. The internet connection was very slow and the server wouldn’t take out-going mail from our e-mail accounts. The tech support was earnest and tried to help with the problem, but we ended up waiting to send the mail until our next stop when the problem resolution involved a ping-pong of voice-mail messages.

Outstanding. Great free breakfast. Excellent free cookies at night. Great staff. Highly recommend.
