Great Hotel
This was a great hotel. The staff was very friendly, and all spoke English. I picked this hotel because of the proximity to all of the sights we wanted to see. We walked everywhere, and it was a rather long walk, but we both enjoyed seeing Paris that way, rather than the metro. There is a Monop, grocery, 2 doors down from the hotel, which was very convenient and provided us with breakfast and lunch every day. The rooms are small, as are other European hotel rooms, but it was comfortable and clean. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
We found that most cafes and restaurants stopped serving food early, around 5:30 or 6:30. We lived on McDonalds while we were out because nothing else was open for dinner when we got back to our hotel late. There are small groceries everywhere, we bought our meals there and ate in parks. Just be prepared to eat "early" or you’ll most likely live on fast food or stop in a grocery.
