Near to Petra hotel
This Movenpick location is the smaller, older, less grand and less clean version of the Movenpick right outside the gate of Petra. The lobby is beautiful, the staff was wonderful and the food was great. The views of the desert valley are also fantastic, but the rooms are run down, not very clean and the beds are hard with poor quality sheets and pillows.

About 5km. away from Petra and you can’t walk the hills, so you have to rely on taxi service to and from.

Movenpick Nabatean Castle
There are two Movenpick Hotels in Wadi Musa. One of them is directly outside of the Petra Visitors Gate and this hotel is about a 10 minute ride from town. Other than being a few minutes (and 5JD cab ride) from town this hotel is great and is as nice as the other Movenpick but cheaper. This is truly an impressive hotel and the rooms at this hotel are much larger than the ones at the Movenpick in town and are cheaper. If you don’t mind the short cab ride...this is the one you should go with.
