Next time in Mareilles, I will definitely stay there...
The hotel has a fabulous location, right near the boats, the wonderful little tourist train, etc. There are many good restautants nearby. There is a "red light" district on the back streets, but that can be easily avoided. There is so much activity in this area that I felt very safe, as a single woman.

The hotel is quiet, weel located, in front of the vieux port, with a easy access to the commercials zones and restaurants. The room is charming, with an old fashion style. The staff is multilingual end friendly. I strongly recomennd this hotel.

A great stay in Marseille...
I very much enoyed my stay at this hotel in Marseille. The staff was friendly and spoke very good english. They had an exvellent breakfast available for Hotel guests (for 17 Euro). Service was very good and the location is great. The room was very comfortable and clean. However, perhaps a bit small and lacking of natural light. ALthough I did not request an upgrade. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
