clean, helpfull
Tryp Blanche Fontaine was new and clean with friendly helpfull service. The breakfast was excellent and cheap. I would definitly recommend it. However, it is located directly adjacent to the red-light district, so anyone planning a family vacation might find it unsuitable.
Traveler's tip on dining
To find a first class restaurant, just go to the Mouline Rouge (you can’t miss it) and walk up hill. There are many excellent restaurants and bars. They seem to be mostly patronized by locals.

Not bad for the price
Well, I hadn’t realized that the Moulon Rouge area is the ’red light’ area of paris. So that was a bit of a surprise to us. The hotel was also doing repairs during our stay--maybe it would have been a good idea for them to have knocked about 20 bucks off the price of our rooms. My brother in law’s door handle fell off of his bathroom door! The internet service there was also VERY expensive.
