Nice hotel, but not the most convenient
Pros: - clean and affordable - rooms were not too small - atm, grocery store, nice restaurants close-by - close to the bastille/marais area for shopping - located in a more residential area, which i liked, but may not be the best for first time travelers to paris - spaceous/nice shower, with portable showerhead - bed was really comfortable!! - double windows that open fully Cons: - the location was a little out of the way for my destinations. - near the bastille metro station, but not a RER - no hair dryer in the room, and the hotel doesnt have enough to accomodate all rooms. - no iron - i had to take a taxi to the airport (which is about 50-60 euro) because i was intimidated by dragging all my luggage through the metro, to the RER and then to the airport. overall, it was a good experience. i would probably stay there again.

Not sure if I would go back...still processing
Staff very friendly I was there for six nights and my sheets were not changed even once. That part I really didn’t like. Shower was fabulous! small room. Either the hotel should get an ice machine or consider putting little refrig in the rooms. Loved the view...overlooking fun little restaurants. If you don’t like noise get a different view. I enjoyed having my window open late at night and listening to the light chatter. OK neighborhood. I was alone and felt safe walking. Close to metro and a Starbucks. I had to leave my room key with them when I left. This was strange to me but I got used to it and kind of liked it. Missed a coffee machine in room. I never ate the breakfast, too expensive for US $$. The breakfast staff was wonderful and let me have a "coffee" each morning. Loved that!
Traveler's tip
If you can’t walk alot, don’t stay here. I’m a walker. I was on the 3rd floor and took the stairs everytime. The lift is soooo tiny. Also at least a 5 min. walk to metro. I enjoyed. Metro is best way to get around. Lots of good restaurants all around.
