Great value
While not located on near downtown San Diego (it is approx. 17 miles from downtown), my family and I found this hotel a great value for the location. It was literally located right off the freeway for easy traveling. There was some noise from the freeway (request a room overlooking the pool). The continental breakfast food selection was good but there was not enough seating for everyone at the same time. Overall a good value and good reccommendation.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The location of the hotel was exactly half-way between Sea World/Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. Buy the 3-4-1 Park Pass and this hotel will serve you well.
