Very nice for the money spent
Visiting relatives in Scott so this was the perfect place to stay. VERY clean, hotel comfortable and staff great. Was surprised by even the cleanliness of the bathroom !

More than we expected for the price!
We found the Howard Johnson’s to be well located considering where we wished to visit. The room smelled clean and tobacco free with plenty of free emnities such as iron, dryer, micro, tec. Wven used the pool which was small but clean.

good for budget and comfort
The hotel was nicer and more comfortable than we expected for the price. Overall, it was a great deal. The beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for driving through on the interstate. There are also two large gas stations near the hotel, so it was convenient for gassing up and hitting the road in the morning. And, being outside the city, there was no traffic to contend with. It was a great deal for the price, and since we were traveling with pets, it was important to find a pet-friendly hotel. The pet rate added a small additional charge, but it was reasonable. The breakfast was a little skimpy, but adequate. I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay near Lafayette with quick access to the interstate
