nice hotel for the money

The hotel was very clean and quiet.

Good hotel, terrible location at the moment

The rooms were clean and fairly large, but the construction on the main road makes the entrance difficult to get to, especially since there are no posted signs telling you where to go (not a good thing for out-of-towners!).

Traveler's tip on dining

Be sure to take a trip into town and eat at Brothers Pizzeria on Main Street (on the corner of Beau and Main) - great food and friendly service!

Needs upgrades/improvements

Furniture was very worn out. Found hair in the tub and behind bathroom door. Mold stains on shower ceiling.

Won’t stay again

Although rooms were spacious, hotel was badly in need of cleaning and updating: holes, marks, wallpaper coming off walls; carpet was dirty and needed to be vacuumed.

Would Stay Here Again..

This is a very nice hotel. If you are on a budget and don’t mind not having all the extras of the big name hotels,this is your best buy for the money.Nothing fancy or special,just a nice place to get a good nights sleep and a nice breakfast in the morning. We have stayed here many times and never have any complaints.

Will not go back

Hotel was rundown. Stains all over hallway carpeting. Coffee stains on floor in lobby and area of continental breakfast. Area where continental breakfast was served was extremely small and you were unable to move without bumping into someone. However, the eating area was much larger. Smoke detectors in need of batteries as they were beeping all night. Hotel needs major renovation and updating.

A lot for a small price.

This is our third time staying here and each time it gets better.They have been doing a lot of upgrades on the rooms and it looks good. For the price that we paid to stay here I have no complaints.The room is fine,the service is fine,and the breakfast is very satisfing.We Will definitely return again.I give it 2 thumbs UP!!

PLEASE stay elsewhere!

We checked in late in the evening and basically went right to bed. Room seemed as what we would expect for the price. The problem arose the next morning when we needed to shower. Apparently, there was a water leak at some point, and water had accumulated under the shower floor. Needless to say, trying to use the shower was like trying to ride a wave. Then, the smell set in. It was like raw sewage. My pregnant wife could not stop vomitting. We had to leave,without showers at 7 am. Management REFUSED to refund our money. VERY RUDE! Would not allow my dog to stay there in the future. Please don’t waste your money!

Inexpensive option in Washington area

I was given tickets to a Thursday night football game at Morgantown and all the area hotels were booked up. Closest thing I could find was in Washington, PA. Considering that we just needed a place to crash at 2AM after watching a WVU game and fighting the traffic afterward, it was fine. Definitely not a high-end stop, but the price reflects as much. Room was clean and the place was secure. Only negative experience was a West Virginia fan puking his guts out in the front of the check-in desk.

Not impressed

Dust on furniture, sheets were stained, bathroom toilet & shower had brown on them, mold on bathroom ceiling and it needs some major updating. The free breakfast in the morning was good.

Not a bad place to stay

Not too bad for the price. little mold in shower but we have been seeing that more and more as we travel. Although there were a lot of kids there for the Pony League World Series, we did not here a thing in our room. Air conditioner could have been a little better

Needs Major Updating

This hotel is very run-down and needs a complete renovation. The front desk and housekeeping staff members were friendly, but the condition of the hotel is disappointing. The screen door to our balcony was off the track and resting up against the wall, there was a large patch of a mysterious sticky substance on the carpet that our feet kept getting stuck to, and the whole hotel was generally outdated. It’s worth a little more money to stay somewhere nicer.

Bob Evans, McDonald’s, Donut Connection, and Taco Bell are all within walking distance, as is a BP gas station with a convenience store.

Decent room for the price

I was looking for a decent, clean, safe place to stay with my two-year-old, that was located just off the interstate and had a pool. This place fit the bill. It would have been better if it had had an elevator- trying to get my stuff up to the second floor while wrangling a toddler was a bit much! But for the price, it was worth it.
