Must not be missed ! We saw wild deer and went for dinner in a local pub - wonderful !

Totally relaxing and space to breathe
Living in Dublin (Ireland) city centre, weekend breaks to the countryside are just what we need sometimes. We were totally blown away by the beautiful grounds of this hotel, the stunning area of Sussex surrounding it and the totally relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were completely accomodating, professional and friendly. We will definitely be back to Sussex and the hotel.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try the local pubs in Sussex and be completely surprised at the Gastropub experience, the relaxing atmosphere and if the sun is shining the beautiful gardens attached to them. Certainly not a ’pub’ as we know it in Ireland - but much better!

When you need to feel great....check in to Ashdown park hotel
We celebrated our wedding at this hotel and went back 12 months later to re-live the day for our anniversary. The hotel staff were attentive but not intrusive and generally very kind. Ashdown park is very special and we love the area too. It is the perfect place to recharge exhausted batteries. After a long weekend, my husband and I were invigorated in mind body and spirit..... Ashdown park is good for your soul! We plan to go back every year to celebrate the anniversaries that are still to come.

Go horseback riding or walking or biking through the Ashdown forest Visit Brighton ( the shops in the lanes are a real treasure trove)
