Service not up to par with other Marriott’s
The actual hotel itself was fine, room was fine, clean, etc. But at check in, the woman at the desk was not friendly -- I don’t think she smiled once. Maybe she had a bad day. Late lunch was good, attentive but not overly so host/waiter. Soup and salad were just right. Dinner was a disaster. The dining room is adjacent to the bar and it was really loud, to the point before we were seated, I asked is this the only dining room? My friend and I both ordered fish, our food came quickly, nice. But my friend’s salmon was not cooked properly in the middle, so she asked for it to be put back under the broiler. We waited a long time until our waitress came back and said it’ll be a few more minutes, they’re making another one. ?? We waited another long time and my friend asked the waitress to cancel the order. Waitress looked surprised, like she didn’t know quite what to do. She came back and said that’s how they cook salmon, medium. She may need some more training. And it went on down hill in the restaurant from there. We never received our check, we waited and waited. Finally, we got up and slowly walked out, other staff said good night, but no one still brought our bill. Weird thing is we were the only diners in the room. It just put a damper on the visit.

Not impressed
Front desk personnel were rude & unhelpful. The area was secluded & it rained the whole time I was there, so is a recommended spot for some getaway time for ourself or w/ a loved one.
