good hotel but requires improvements.
HOTEL WAS GOOD AND STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. ENCOUNTERED PROBLEMS WITH DOOR KEY MANY TIMES. BATHROOM FACILITIES ARE VERY OLD. WATER WAS NOT SWEET. DOORS WERE NOT TIGHT AND INSECTS OR LIZARDS OR SNAKES COULD GET IN THE ROOM. DEFINITELY HOTEL ROOMS NEED COMPLETE OVERHAUL. BEACH WAS EXCELLENT. SHUTTLE WAS PUNCTUAL.

Good location & beachfront facilities in quiet Sanur
Two really nice pools and great beachfront seating with direct sun and shade palms. Sanur is quieter than Kuta side and while the beach is not as nice, at Mercure, the area is protected by a reef and provides gentle waters for wading, renting jet skis or going para-gliding. The resort is comfortable, but is mostly booked by French tours, so most guests speak only French, although in Bali the locals speak English. The restaurant is way overpriced - go outside and up the road to find a good assortment of restaurants and places to drink. Rooms are clean & comfortable, staff helpful.

Beware of the "authorized money changers" in this part of Sanur - they’re not very honest or trustworthy.
