Enchanting
Superb location steps to the Medina. A peaceful retreat where one can sit on the terrace overlooking the city and hear the Call to Prayer from hundreds of Mosques. The pool and gardens offer a tranquil setting for relaxing in the afternoon. The staff is very accomodating. The breakfast is abundant and the dinner we had was one of the best we had eaten.

Not worth it at the price, not a true 5 star
We just didnt find this hotel to be all that it was cracked up to be. The prices were surely 5 star plus, but the quality wasnt. There were better riads in Fes than this money spinner.

Excellent Location--Helpful People
The location is great-- very close to the medina. The public rooms are lovely; the front desk/concierge staff were fabulous and very helpful. The room was alright and clean but could have been anywhere and although we requested a non-smoking room, there did not seem to be any. The Moroccan restaurant in the hotel was overrated but the bar was comfortable, friendly and had good music. The breakfast was enormous but the wait staff seemed brusque and overtaxed.
