Great stay.
My husband and I were visiting Madrid for the first time and only had 3 nights and 3 days to explore the city. The hotel accomodated us for having our room ready for us immediately in the morning from our overseas flight . The extremely comfortable beds and top of the line linens were very comforting after the long flight. Location is right on bus line and also the hop on hop off sightseeing bus which is nice to do but a little more time consuming if you are on a short schedule. The coincerage helped us with tickets to a flamengo show which I strongly recommend for a very fun evening and the food was good too. We did not eat at the hotel as we were too busy sightseeing but did enjoy the Scotch Bar in the evening for a nightcap before returning again to our very comfortable room. The rooms are not huge but very accomodating and the marble bathroom was large and very nice. Staff was courteous so all in all I cant think of a bad thing to say. We would definitely stay there again if we were lucky enough to get the great rate that we accomplished from the internet. I checked at a later date and the rate had tripled!!! Guess we were just lucky.
We went late in October and the weather was perfect. Only needed a little jacket or sweater at night.

Not unkind, but when a problem arises they are inattentive

Traveler's tip on dining
Eating at restaurants in Madrid tends to be fairly late (8:30pm+). Try the local bars instead. They tend to have wonderful fare in smaller portions (called "Tapas") that combined easily result in a full meal equivalent -- and they serve all day.
