An OK place to sleep
Based on prior reviews, I was very leery, but this was the only place with rooms available on UNT graduation eve, so we booked it. Cleanliness (or lack thereof) was not quite as bad as described by some reviewers. The room was actually pretty clean, except for the ancient drapes which had some horrid stains. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. The fridge and microwave were nice unexpected perks. The location is good with easy access to the interstate and UNT. The staff was nice; they tried to manage serving breakfast and man the front desk at the same time. The trouble is that the hotel is hopelessly outdated. It needs to be gutted and remodeled from scratch. The fixtures and decor are a blast from the past, and they are definitely showing their age. If you want a relatively cheap place to lay your head, this will do. Do not expect anything more.

Will never stay again
This hotel was almost scary. In both rooms the chain lock had been ripped off the wall and was laying on the dresser, the room numbers were taped to the door on the outside, and the fire alarms were dangling from the ceiling by one wire. The showers have no water pressure. There are only four tv channels and our list of channels had perverse words written on them.

Good place to stay
The hotel is like any other Days Inn. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the Texas shaped waffles as part of the continental breakfast.
