Worst Service Ever
I was truly amazed at the new "lows" in service quality I experienced at this hotel. After checking in, I began to get very ill (not related to the hotel) and spent the evening in the bathroom. The next morning, I was still too sick to travel, and asked my friend to work with the front desk for us to stay one more night. The front desk person said that we needed to come down to the lobby to finalize the arrangements. I gave my friend the same credit card that had been used the night before. Although it was the same front desk person that checked me in and had taken a copy of my drivers license and the credit card, he told my friend that I needed to come down in person. When my friend explained that I was in bed sick, the man reminded him it was after check-out and we were, technically, in the room illegally. My friend suggested he call the room and speak to me. The man did and told me that I needed to come down personally "and bring your ID". I got dressed and went downstairs. The man said, "Can I see your ID?" As I handed it to him, I reminded him it was the same ID he made a copy of about 14 hours ago. He looked at the ID, looked at me (as if verifying my identity), then handed my ID back and ran the charge for one more night. The next morning, we loaded up the car and drove to the front office to drop off the key and check out. It was 11:10am. The clerk (a different one), looked at me with a frown and said, "Check-out time is at 11."
