Not bad for the price/cost
it was a good stay at the place. I’d previously checked the online review which was a little hyped for this hotel. Few pointers - The parking spaces were all packedup. I had to park near one of the picket fences. - Complimentary breakfast was just not good enough. - I’d expected the lobby to provide me the wifi. But they didn’t(as i didn’t explicitly asked in the first place.). - Location is good..and its quite.. - Overall, i would recommend the stay at this place.

Close to Marina
Good hotel but small pool. Great location if you wanna go to the Marina or to Humphrey’s concert.

Was hoping for more based on decent reviews
I was looking for a hotel priced lower than those found downtown. Maybe I got what I paid for? The room had a musty smell. It was not the dirtiest place I’ve seen, but not the cleanest either. The parking lot (while free) was tiny so we had to use street parking each night. It was not the most uncomfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed in but I would choose something else for my next stay in San Diego.
Traveler's tip on dining
The restaurant next door, while highly rated from what I could find online, was just a greasy mess of seafood. Who cares or knows if it was actually fresh seafood, when its fried? (We are not big fried food eaters.) There are other options on the menu, we just got what they recommended.
