Okay, not thrilled with location
The Inn was across the street from the ocean. We had a view of houses across the street and you had to walk a few blocks in order to gain access to the ocean. It is about 5 miles north of Huntington beach, I would say technically it is on Seal Beach even though it has a Huntington Beach address. A couple of times we came back late to find no parking, so we had to park in the little opening for the stairs, thank goodness we had a compact rental. The staff was very friendly I will say that. The room was clean, the air conditioner was not that cool but it wasn’t bad enough to complain about. Loved having a jacuzzi bathtub in the room.
Seal beach, which is closer, is much more family friendly than Huntington beach.

Simple no thrills hotel
Hotel is what you pay for, a cheap place to rest and clean up after a day out at the beach. Other reviews are right, cable needs work, had to jiggle the wire around to get stations in clear. WIFI was good, signal faded from time to time but not bad. Room and bath were cleaned each day, but you could tell it had not been renovated in quite some time. The location is good, although traffic is heavy at times. If you are used to being pampered, this is not the place for you.

Hotel staff were not friendly. Sink would not drain. Shower barely gave me water. Hallways, room floors, walls, common areas were filthy! I travel for a living and this hotel is easily in my top 5 worse I have ever stayed at. The price paid was certainly not worth it.....in summary: stay away!
