Kfar Maccabia Hotel and Suites

Not for business travel

Normally, I would have stayed in Tel Aviv at the beach, but this was the only place available, and seemed very reasonable insofar as price. I found out why. The place is in the middle of nowhere. Be prepared to take a cab or drive if you want to eat somewhere other than the hotel as there really is nothing within walking distance. Service is inconsistent, sometimes fair, but usually slow and at times quite rude. The hotel is geared towards the locals, and respects the sabbath. Google "sabbath elevator" so you don’t find out the hard way. Of all the annoyances, the fact my room did not have a chair at the "desk"; only a foot stool, was the worst. I had a long report to write, and boy was my back aching by the end of it.

Would stay there again

Closest hotel to airport-best when in transit to other cities. Quiet surroundings. Helpful & friendly staff. Beautiful & clean room. Delicious food buffets though expensive.

Traveler's tip

If you don’t have your own computer, use one between lobby and dining room. Check first to see if left with any minutes remaining from previous user before paying for your own minutes.

Beautiful facility

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The food was excellent and plentiful. Very clean. Staff extremely gracious. We wish our other accomadations in Israel were as nice.
