Good Location
Three of stayed here for 3 nights after driving to Christchurch from the West Coast. It was very easy to find and a very convenient spot for starting out for various day trips. Also, if you don’t mind a nice walk through Hagley Park, a good location for walking and seeing the sites of Christchurch. The owners do a nice job of providing a ton of in room information about local restaurants, menus, taxi service, and tourist attractions in the area. Also, though check-out was at 10am, they let us leave our car and luggage there for a few hours before we had to take off to catch our flight. We stayed Sunday through Tuesday night; didn’t hear any noise from the "boy racers."

Great location, friendly hosts, affordable
Argyle on the Park is close to good restaurants, all night dairy, 15min walk to mall and 30min or so walk to city through Hagley Park. Hosts were friendly and helpful..There were 3 of us .. the unit was spacious and well laid out for us for the four nights we were there.. On main roads so easy to get places by car..

Great location next to Hagley Park. Motel is clean and well kept, but a little dated and worn around the edges. Friendly service.
