All in all, a good place to stay
We were unimpressed with one of the people at the front desk, thus the 3 for rating the quality of the hotel service. She was not remotely close to welcoming or friendly. Especially after our 10 hour overnight train ride. However the rest of the staff seemed down to earth. I LOVED the location. Two blocks from the beach. Right next door to a grocery store- we had fresh fruit daily. Not in the dead center of the tourist area, but close enough for those who want to be there. A couple blocks to the big market and surrounded by great stores for shopping.
Traveler's tip on dining
Warning for anyone going to Nice, it’s expensive. But if you’ve never been I definitely think it’s worth the first-time trip. Just don’t be alarmed when you get your bill after dinner!

Good quality hotel with a quaint cozy feel.
The hotel is not a luxury hotel but it has a cozy feel. We enjoyed the balcony from our room which was on the front of the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and the more touristy part of the city. The room we stayed in had a sitting area, separate bedroom area and actually had two full bathrooms in it.
