Sheraton Brussels Hotel

Very good hotel, I will for sure go back again!!!

Everything was great. Service was very good, people at hotel were always very attentive to my needs. Buffet bfast in the mornings was very good too. Bathroom, pool area, lockers and everything were very clean. Excellent hotel. Only bad thing was that the heat was central and couldn’t be controlled from inside the room so it was very very hot. I’m very picky with hotels though and I loved this one!!! It’s also very close to shopping area and there are lots of galleries and restaurants around.

One of the best in Brussels- Go Club, it is worth it

Travelled with 2 adults and 3 older teens in early July 2009. We had one club and one regular room and would strongly recommend paying the extra for the club. Club room was quite spacious, better equipped and modern. Plus bed more comfortable in comparison. In addition, the club room offers free beverages and appetizers which was the perfect way to end each busy day in the city. Staff were very helpful and available throughout our stay especially in the club room and it had free internet access in the club room but only one computer which was typically free.

Transportation right out side your hotel whether that is hop on and off buses or metro. There is a reasonably priced restraunt in the hotel. Attractions are quite spread out and would recommend the hop on and off to get a lay of the land if travelling to Brussels for the first time. Taxi rides are certainly an adrenalin rush so beware. There is also a mall across the street.

Very good hotel for a business trip

Very good hotel for a business trip. Comfortable rooms. Clean and nice. Very well located. Close to metro station and EC premises. Not far from the centre. Free internet access in the lobby.

Nice rooms, breakfast is not included and is charged extra at 29 Euros. If you are interested in going to bars/clubs location might not be too great

Would recommend

Arrived in Brussels early in the morning, so I tried to check in right away. Receptionist was very polite and requested that I wait until the room is cleaned, which is 10:30 am. However at that time room wasn’t ready. I was anxious to get into my room and get some rest after an overnight flight, still I was asked to wait in the lobby and I will be contacted when the room’s ready. Nobody contacted me the next two hours, when I finally went back to the receptionist desk and finally got my room. That’s the only negative experience I had. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel. Location is great, walking distance to many restaurants and eateries, as well as sights. If I go to Brussels again, I would stay in Sheraton!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

In the airport, if you want save some money, take bus #272, it will bring you straight to the Sheraton hotel. The trip will take around 45-50 min. Trust me you won’t miss it, and most bust drivers speak English.

Very impressed

Sheraton in Brussels was wonderful. The service was great and the location was perfect. The subway station Rogier is right out the door. As soon as we got there we were told we were upgraded to a Club Rooom which was wonderful. There was free internet in the lobby, coffee in the room and a very comfortable bed.

Overall my stay was very nice.

Check-in was easy. The room was very comfortable The hotel facilities and services were very good overall. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to the subway is a plus

Good Value for you Money

This hotel was nice and had big, clean rooms. It was quiet at night but still close enough to the tourist locations to walk. It was also right next to a metro stop in case you want to go to atomium. The hotel also had free internet in the lobby and complimentry water in the room which was nice.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

There is a direct train from the Brussels Airport to Gare Nor (The North Station) The hotel is an easy two or three blocks South of the Station. The train is about $5 - a taxi is about $75.

Just ok

Pros: Easy walking distance to Brussels North train station. Clean. High class looking. Only indoor pool in Belgium I think:-) Lobby area is comfortable enough to hang out in for hours. Cons: 10 euros for an hour of wired internet, 45 for 24 hours, thats continuous hours to so basically you can’t logout and save time, the clock is always ticking. Bathroom design was not up to the standards of the hotel, there is a stupid door step/sill into the bathroom that I kept tripping on, i found out why it was there after taking a shower and the whole bathroom floods that little sill keeps the water from getting into the room.

Skip the Brussels Cafe right around the corner from the hotel, sub-par by Belgian standards, just keep walking to find something better.

Excellent, Friendly Service

Was impressed with this hotel...nice location, well appointed, excellent service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated but still quite comfortable.

Easy access to the airport via the express train from Gare du Nord (only a five minute walk to the station).

Excellent Hotel

Great location - easy walk to main square but also not right in the middle of the hussle and bussle. Free internet access was available in the lobby and the hotel had excellent service... the Guest Service Centre (reception) was sometimes a bit slow.

Good choice

Hotel has nice ammenities & great service. Internet access, several establishments to dine, one more upper scale than the other. The concierge was very helpful. Felt secure here as an American tourist.

Great Place to Stay

The Hotel is not in the middle of downtown Brussels but is walking distance to Metro, Train and Tram statiions. Our room was very spacious and the hotel has a fitness center and pool on the 30th floor that are very nice. The room had a AC that was not working great but the weather was not too hot, so really didn’t matter. We had a great time!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The great fun in Brussels are their beer bars and old churches and museums. The trip by train to Brugges was a real fun as well.

Decent Alternative

Pros: - Nice shopping area and metro station right across the street. - Sightseeing buses stop right in front of the hotel. Cons: - A bit out of the way from the Grand Place, which is where you will be most of the time. It is possible to walk or take the tram/metro, but its a hassle for a first time visitor to figure out. So its a decent alternative if other hotels closer to the Grand Place are all booked out.

I Would Definitely Go Back!

The Sheraton Brussels Hotel was outstanding! We stayed there recently for a week. We had two Expedia rooms on the Club Level which meant free breakfast and countless other amenities. The club level rooms were large (by European standards) and clean. The hotel provides free computers and internet access to all guests in the lobby for an hour, but there is unlimited internet access for club level guests (which you get through Expedia). The concierge and entire staff were unbelievably helpful and provided excellent service.

A very comfortable stay. The only down were the high prizes of internet access, food, etc. The pool and fitness room on the 30th floor is quite amazing.
