Lovely, laid-back
Small, intimate tennis lodge with beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurant, fantastic view; but right in the city. Non-sports amenities limited.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Rent a car; nothing is in walking distance, and hotel amenities are limited.

Cozy Couples Spot!
The hotel is in a very upscale residential location in the Fountain Hills area on the north-eastern edge of Scottsdale. Depending on traffic, about 30 or more minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Copperwynd is was very quaint and has beautiful grounds with a great view from our room balcony. We had a delicious meal at Alchemy one night and massages one afternoon! If you want something other than a chain hotel, this is a nice treat!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If youre visiting for Giants Spring Training like we were, just know that you are a bit of drive away from Old Historic Scottsdale where the ballpark is, but it was worth it!

What a lovely place to stay!
My father and I came down to spend a week at the Mayo Clinic; after being at the Clinic all day, it was just wonderful to return to the hotel. I just loved the fireplace in my room. The main restaurant, Alchemy, is stunning, with incredible views, especially when its warm enough to open the glass sliding doors. We appreciated the adults-only pool. My only semi-complaint is that b/c the hotel is small, the spa staff is freelance and it was hard to find mutually agreeable times for their services. I had a nice facial there, but they couldnt find someone to do my nails.
Traveler's tip on dining
The main restaurant, Alchemy, is wonderful but quite expensive. We had a couple of dinners there but also made sure to get out and see the area.
