Just what we needed
Clean rooms and comfortable beds and helpful staff. Great breakfast and enjoyed internet access. Little frustrated with the card key getting into the building from the parking lot. The green light was out so you never knew when to try opening the door.

Really good value!
This hotel was rated as 2 stars. However, under tight budget, this hotel was one of the hotels that I could afford. I did not expect anything until I got there. This hotel was much better than I had expected. The room was comfortable, all of the staffs were nice and friendly, and the continental breakfast was pretty good. If your budget is tight, I highly would recommend this hotel. If I were asked to give rating of this hotel, 2 stars is under graded. I would give 3 or 3.5 starts.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you are not particular about staying near tourist attraction, this hotel is good choice for you. This hotel is not too far from downtown Charleston or beaches.

would warn people of the possible problems, but it is a good location
The first night the toilet seat was broken and the people above stayed up all night dropping bags of ice on the floor to break them up for partying. We changed rooms and the second one was much better. The ice machine on our floor was broken and the drink machine out of drinks. Despite the inconveniences, it is a good location.
Traveler's tip
Park in the light. Our car was vandalized in the parking lot at night. The manager did offer to call the police for us.
