Disappointed
I read multiple revues for this hotel which was the reason I booked a room. The staff was cordial but not helpful or friendly as most comments would indicate. There was far too much outside noise that could be heard from within the room. The room was hot and we were there in late October. All said, the hotel was okay for one night. But, when I go back to Rome I will not be staying there.

Perfect location
We enjoyed a four day stay at this hotel in October. The staff at the front desk (especially the woman) were always helpful. The breakfast was nice in that it included a warming tray of scrambled eggs daily. The pastries were above average as well. The serving staff were efficient and very pleasant. I dont understand the canned fruit and sliced meats and cheese that all the hotels put out, but there was yogurt, grapefruit juice, other things we enjoyed. The housekeeping staff were amazing. They cleaned our room every day while we were at breakfast and it was lovely when we returned. The location: what more could you ask? steps (very few) from the Pantheon, a short walk to Campo di Fiori and the Piazza Navona. The buses (#40 and 64) available just a couple of blocks down to Largo Argentina. We took the bus from the termini. It was crowded, but it worked nicely. I would stay here again next time. Only negative: the AC was "off for the season" and the room was very hot. They did come and turn off the towel warmer. Also, construction workers worked outside our window during day. It was distracting to have them noisily chatting and playing the radio.

The Albergo is GREAT
1.) Awesome location. Can almost touch the Pantheon, great views from the roof top, lots of shops/rest around, and very central to most of Romes attractions. 2.) Great staff. Helpful in everyway. It was our honeymoon and they really took care of us. Directions, taxis, etc. 3.) Nice rooms. We had a suite and it was great. 4.) Solid breakfast. some cold/some hot. 5.) Only downside: HARD mattress. I would highly recommend this hotel
