I love Melia Ixtapa, can’t wait to go back wonderful hotel
Me and my husband we were very happy staying in this hotel, everything is wonderful and the food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and we are planing to go back to melia ixtapa

I had to laugh after reading the reviews and then actually staying at the resort. I didn’t believe all the stuff I was reading and thought people were just being picky. But they were actually dead on! The hotel is very nice. Don’t get me wrong. The food is okay. I have had better. But I am not picky when it comes to buffets. If you are expecting fine dining, don’t stay at an all-inclusive resort. My daughter, who is 3, loved all they had to offer. However, I will say that the resort was extremely crowded, all with large families with many kids. Since we only have 1 three year old, who is extremely well-behaved, I was annoyed from the very beginning at the sheer number of really bad kids there. We usually vacation in Cozumel, and I think we will be going back there. If you are looking for a quiet laid-back vacation, this is not the place to go. But if you have several kids (3 or more) who need a lot of things to do to keep them entertained, this is actually a great resort. The place was clean, and very hospitable. All the shows and kids clubs are done in Spanish, to cater to the majority of the guests. But we still enjoyed them. Hope this helps in making a decision on whether to stay or not.
Be sure to ask the desk what nightly activities there are. they won’t tell you unless you ask!
