Disappointment
We booked and paid for a full size room for 2 for New Year in London through Expedia 3 weeks in advance. We checked in New Year’s Eve day only to find out that they "oversold". They gave us the run around and at one point actually told us it was a hotel maintenance issue. The manager would not compensate us and stuck us into a room 6’X 10’ with one single bed. We filed a complain with the manager, for at least the differences of the rooms and she refuse to compensate us and offered "As a gesture of our goodwill on the next occasion you require London hotel accommodation please contact me personally and I will arrange some special terms for you at any of our hotels". We will not return to this hotel. This hotel had a staff of 2 for New Year’s Eve and was extremely unhelpful and rude!! Not to mention that the hotel is rundown.

Don’t know how they got a 4 star rating...
I’ve been staying in different Central London hotels for the last 2 weeks, as I’m looking for an apartment. The rooms are old, including the bathroom. The rooms are large but that’s the only good point. Look for a quality 3 star hotels and you’ll get more value for your money.

A 4star that is not a 4star!
This is at most a 3 star hotel. Tiny room no place for suitcase, old hotel no maintenance and hotel staff not helpful. However, room is clean, which for me is the most important thing for a 1-night stay.
