nice but
not for the price. Room was below average (not real clean & very cramped) and if you didn’t make it down to the pool in time, you had no seats let alone shade. You also had to pay in addition to the cost of the room for use of umbrellas down by the beach. Great that it was on the beach and the staff was fantastic!

Mar Vista was casual & awesome food and Blue Dolphin was great for breakfast - watch the omlettes, made with 4-5 eggs!

Very nice - little pricey
The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very nice. Beach was crowded and there were not enough chairs for all the guests.

Great place to stay
This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good. The location was unbeatable.

Wonderful
My wife and I decided to go out of town for a few days to take a break from reality. This hotel was wonderful, the food fantastic but the waitstaff has alot to be desired. Had to get up and get somebody to take our order for dinner as nobody seemed interested. Beaches were clean and literally a 20 foot walk from our room to the sand....can’t wait togo back

Great Location, not happy with Hilton
I have never stayed at a Hilton, but my thought was how bad can it be?. It was all the reviews had said, but all in all not a horrible place, just needs a overhaul. It is old, and the airconditioning system needs some work. The location is great.

Beautiful Spot on the Gulf
We stayed for a week in November and were lucky enough to have perfect weather. This hotel has a beautiful beach along with a lovely pool and hot tub area. Outdoor dining was a pleasure, especially breakfast. Only complaint was that there was extensive construction which interfered with elevator service. I guess walking the stairs was a good way to work off that breakfast! We’d definitely go back to The Hilton Long Boat Key again when visiting the Sarasota area.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was so friendly and accomodating - they were great. The beach at the hotel was soooo beautiful - we spent all of our time out there.

Try the Beachhouse restaurant for a sunset dinner - it’s very casual but the food is yummo!

Quiet and comfortable stay.
We spent the week at Longboat Key. The Hilton was very quiet and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful. Hurricane Ike only bothered us for one day with some rain and a little wind. A great place for a little R&R.

Great Place
This is a good place to be, the Hotel is clean with good facilities and a great location for the beach and central to tour around the local areas. The hotel was clean and very friendly.the staff could not do enough for us. Just what we needed!

Very relaxing!
Our family stayed here for spring break. We all had a great time! This hotel offered us exactly what we were looking for. The pool was nice, the beach was beautiful, and we enjoyed jet skiing! It was very close to good restraunts, and shopping!

would go back in a minute!!!
It was a lovely hotel. The only complaints were very minor- the maids knocked on our door 3x at about 8am wanting to clean the room. We were still in bed reading/relaxing. next time I will know to use the do not disturb sign- I have never had to do that. The proximity of the beach and water was unsurpassable!!! 50 steps and I was on the beach!!! Thank you!

Wonderful beach, location and service
We loved the location right on the beach. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We cannot wait to go back and would highly recommend the Hilton Long Boat Key. Our only disappointment was the hotel breakfast buffet.

Perfect hotel for vacation with childrens
Very good hotel for vacation. I went there with my family ( wife and 2 children ) and I am totaly satidfied. Beach is beautiful, pool and spa as well. Rooms are big, clean, although hotel starts to be a bit "old". But service is perfect, people are nice, and th location of hotel is perfect. To sum up, perfect!!
Don’t hesitate to visit all museums, Mote aquarium and Bush Safari Center (Tampa)

Not a good experience
it wasnt a good experience, 1st. we ask for an extra bed and they ran out of it. 2nd. cking time 4:30 pm and check out 11:00 am. 3erd. we saw a big cockroach in our room. 5th a lot of fleas . I wont stay ever again over there
