Not impressed, at all!
The price was ridiculous. I’ve stayed in downtown Chicago for less. It was a slum.

Good place to spend the night
It is however, quite remote. Restaurants are within walking distance, but there aren’t any sidewalks so getting to them involved climbing snowbanks or walking in the streets or parking lots. The hotel is nice, but not very inviting when you walk in since there is a lounge area with a bar that is all dark even in the early evening. They should either use it or get rid of it.

Convenient and friendly
We stay here 4-5 times a year while visiting family in the area. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are typical Marriot but clean and spacious. Their breakfast buffet is wonderful. The Redwood Lodge Restaurant is a short walk away and a good place to eat.
