Great value
Great customer service, good value, great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach. The only negative was that the walls didn’t have soundproofing.I could hear the in the next room snoring although not loud enough to keep me awake.

Already made plans to return next year or sooner~
This was the best five days I have ever spent away from home. To start the vacation off, I was on crutches. Pelican Bay did everything they could to make us comfortable and help me around. The room was on the bottom floor and right off the pool so I did not have to walk far. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room clean every day. Being next to Lucaya Market was wonderful because if you didn’t eat at the restaurant at Pelican Bay (that was awesome itself!!) you could walk close to other places. There is the casino right across the street also. We can’t wait to book again for next year. Same place! Same time!!! (the weather was so nice though the Bahamians thought it was chilly! - 70’s!!) And free breakfast!!

Not up to standards
Hotel was a bit run-down. There is no direct access to the beach - you have to take a shuttle provided by the hotel. Small swimming pool. Breakfast was not good at all - buffet with packaged danish and alike. The bed was very worn and uncomfortable. I was there on business so it was bearable for one night but I would have been very upset had I booked for a week.
