Just a place to crash for the night.
I was just looking for a clean, cheap, place to crash, that was close to the marina since I was heading out on an early fishing trip the next morning. This hotel was just fine. I routinely sleep with earplugs in when traveling, which turned out to be a good idea since I was still woken up momentarily by a couple of rowdy partiers returning to the hotel after the bars had closed. Overall, the hotel was fine. Amenities were few, no pool; I would have spent the extra money to stay at a nicer place if I had my family with me.

good price, noisy
Location was central, but close to heavy traffic road. Room was clean. Several discourteous guests next door were up til 4 or 5am, talking loudly just outside our door, rooms not very sound proof, we were awakened several times.

Not what I expected
The room was so tiny it was literally too small for two people to even stay in comfortably. The air conditioner leaked water everywhere. It also stopped working in the middle of the night so we woke up sweating. Deffinitely not what I expected, looked nothing like the picture that was posted.

Quiet, Clean and Perfect location
I spent one night on a business trip, the front desk people were very kind and friendly, perfect location for business and leisure. Breakfast is served in the morning, the room was a little small but clean and cozy.

close to everything but ....
the room was small, the staff at the hotel was not friendly, and it was a lot worse than what i expected. I am not going to stay in this hotel again the next time I visit San Diego.
