Have not been disappointed yet
Have always used the Marriot Courtyard when traveling on business. The service has always been top notch.

ok except for the shuttle service
We were all trying to get on a 6:00 AM shuttle and it took longer to get to the airport (30-40 min) than driving in from Manhatten.

Great Service from Front Desk and Bellman
The service was wonderful. My Mom is 87 and as soon as we got out of the cab the bellman got a wheel chair for her. The front desk people were very helpful and kept asking if we need anything else. Our room was clean and the coffee maker had plenty of coffee decaf, tea and regualar. My only comment about the Hotel was the room was so small. The beds were great!!

Horrible customer service
The hotel itself was satisfactory, there were clean sheets, and bathroom and was general visualy appeasing, however the attitudes and atmosphere of the hotel was very unprofessional and sometimes rude. As a customer I felt very uncomfterble and whenever I request something as simple as a bath towel I felt as though I was bothering someone. The treatment I recieved convinced me to never stay at that hotel again.

Convenient location
This hotel is well located just outside JFK with easy access via their own shuttle which leaves every 30 min. From JFK you can take the AirTrain + subway and be in downtown Manhattan in about 45 min. Staff are very helpful and overall service is very good. Convenient for overnight stays between flights.

Best overnight stay hotel for JFK airport
If you are looking for an overnight stay close to JFK, you must stay at the Courtyard Marriott JFK! Especially if you have had a wondeful time shopping at New York and badly need a restful stay before you catch your early morning flight out of JFK, this would be the place to stay. For a start, their fantastically friendly and prompt reception, room service, shuttle services saves you time so you can have that much needed rest. Followed by a fantastically clean, cosy and comfortable room with the signature Marriott comfy beds and fresh scent of the white bed sheets, duvet and pillows that relaxes you immediately and almost make it hard to part the next morning. Room service menu is also absolutely good and one-not-to-miss is their juicy mushroom swiss burger with crispy fries. And finally when you leave, the friendly shuttle service puts you on the road comfortably! Definitely the JFK Airport hotel for me!

Great Value
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were BEYOND helpful. Location was very convinient. Great value given the price of most hotels in NYC.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The hotel shuttle runs every half hour to the airtrain station. From there, the city is at your fingertips.

Exceeded my expectations...
Although the hotel doesn’t have all the comforts of a 4 or 5 star hotel. It’s a simple room, with a tv and bathroom...nothing fancy. But the service is EXCEPTIONAL! I loved my stay there, the staff are fantastic and courteous. Unless you’re looking for a hotel with ALL the bells and whistles, you don’t need to look any further then the Courtyard Marriot. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so comfortable.

Great value for the price
Stay overnight at the start of our family summer vacation and though a short stay found the staff to be warm, friendly and eager to help. Remember this was the summertime, so we expected the hotel to be full. Great beds, though the standard room was a bit small, but this was over-shadowed by the the high standard of cleanliness. The food in the breakfast buffet was also good for the value.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
This is not the ideal location to stay if you have to do business or visit the city often, but a great overnight choice or if you are visiting or doing business in the Queens area.
