Holiday at the Amman Sheraton
The Sheraton is a nice hotel, but lacks in a couple of areas: - Room service menu was incorrect, eg, I ordered from the old menu and received a different meal that was on the new menu, with increased costs. - Tower Lounge breakfast menu was very limited compared to the main restaurant menu. - Movies should be able to be selected via the TV, not a physical DVD that needed to be delivered from an outside shop (the DVD didnt work either and I still had to pay). - The laundry service was very expensive compared to other hotels I have stayed at around Europe and the Middle East. However, the pool and fitness club was very good. The general service was reasonably good, probably because I paid extra to be part of the executive club. Id hope that other high level hotels in Amman are better than the Sheraton.

Friendly place
This is my 2nd stay at Sheraton Amman. I would say that the entire staff are so warm, friendly, courteous and they make you feel very special. Even the strict security in the Hotel operate so diplomatically that they make you make you feel that you are at a Home away from Home. The place is a bit away from city action but nevertheless that helps maintain a good descent crowd within the hotel. The facilities within the Hotel are also well above other places in Amman.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Amman, as such has a very poor night life. So dont land up there with any great expectations.

Consistent Quality
I have stayed at this Sheraton several times and every stay has been a good experience. Its pool area is terrific with nice views of the city. The hotels main restaurant, Spice Garden, does outstanding buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner and its new outdoor bar, Sanctuary, is a great place to have a drink when the weather is nice.
