Great accomodation
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Grand Minerva.Staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were huge, the view from the roof top was great, and location was ideal as it was a short flat walk from the train station and walking distance to most sights. It was also nice to have a quiet big piazza outside. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. It was excellent.

Great hotel!
Beautifully appointed hotel - large, clean rooms and wonderful staff. Expansive breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausages, etc - excellent! Short walk to train station. Short walk to restaurants, museums, etc.

Santa Maria Novella church (next door) was definitely worth a visit!

Great location, helpful staff, beautiful upgraded room
The hotel has a perfect location - 2 minute walk from the train station, & a leisurely walk from all the important sights. There’s a beautiful (but not overly large) rooftop terrace with a pool; also a very nice comfy bar in the lobby. We received an upgraded room after a problem with the water pressure. The standard rooms are ok, nothing special, but the upgraded rooms & the loft suites are beautiful & more spacious. The staff was very helpful - went out of their way for us with giving us a choice of rooms & making helpful meal suggestions & reservations for visiting museums. Would definitely stay here again! Note there was construction nearly completed in the piazza in front of the hotel.
