"Copenhagen Cure"
The Copenhagen Airport Hillton is probably one of the best airport Hiltons I’ve ever stayed at! Everything was excellent. My only recommendation would be to skip the "fresh" oysters on the buffet, if you are an oyster aficionado... as they have been previously frozen. The elegant dining restaurant is a great treat for the tired traveler needing a little "pick-me-up"!

Hilton is a little tired - food is very expensive.
My wife and I stayed at the Hilton both pre- and post cruise in September, 2009. We chose it for convenience in transferring to the ship. While it is undoubtedly convenient, we found it looking tired and outdated. The lobby is graced with a huge bright yellow shag rug straight out of the 60’s, while the carpeting in the hallways has a smell to it, reminiscent of cheap motels in the US. The room was comfortable enough, although one of the phones didn’t work and I missed a wake-up call. The decor is basically IKEA. My other problem with the Hilton is the price of its food. The weekday luncheon buffet is around US$60.00, while a bowl of lobster bisque through room service is $30.00. Taxis from the hotel to the city center are around $65.00. In short, if convenience to the airport is what you need, this will do fairly well. Otherwise, I’d recommend a good hotel in the city center.

Be sure to book the room WITH the additional cost for the breakfast buffet - otherwise, this will undoubtedly be pricey as well.
