Decent for the price...neighborhood not so great.
This hotel claims a continental breakfast and restaurant onsite, however this was not the case. All food and beverages were refrigerator vending machine style. Very little parking and spaces are super-small plus you have to pay extra for parking. Within walking distance to metro and a couple places to eat. Weekend market takes place across the street on weekends making the area very busy, crowded, and littered at the end of the day. All in all, it was fairly inexpensive and close to the metro. Would stay there again.
Buy a metro pass and take the metro everywhere you go. The traffic is ridiculous in Paris - most roads do not have lane markers and mopeds and bikes take the right of way making driving for foreigners very risky and frustrating. The metro is safe and fairly easy to understand and stops are near every tourist attraction in the city.
