Great hotel for older people
The hotel was great but all the guests seem to be older. We’re a young couple who wanted to stay in a very nice hotel but Ritz Carlton is meant for older wealthy guests. We’ll come back again but as grandparents celebrating their anniversary.

Great location on the beach in South Beach
I stayed there twice within a 7 day period. Miami was the city I was connection through on my continued flight to/from Europe. I never had it as a destination, but thought The Ritz Carlton was the perfect hotel in a very nice location of Miami. Centrally located in South Beach within walking distance to all the bars/restaurants/night clubs. Great service. All the staff at the concierge desk was very helpful. One minus was the breakfast I had last day I stayed there. I showed up at 10:45 PM and knowing they had a buffet, I was tried to decide between having the buffet of ordering Al a Carte. I was informed by the waitress that the buffet would continue until noon. This was not the case. At 11 AM, they began removing the buffet items and as such I did not get to try all the items I would have liked to.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
If your idea of fun is a night on the town, then staying in South Beach is definitely a must. Be warned the drinks at the bars are very expensive. More expensive than I have encountered anywhere else. I regular drink can cost you close to $20.

Vacation paradise
This hotel was awesome.. The staff was very friendly.. the only thing i didn’t like was the pool hourse, besides that everything was great.. The perfect getaway...
